The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports recently made substantial improvements to its passport services. The most prominent of them is the adjustment of Pakistan’s urgent passport charge.
For this purpose, the individuals should have a passport and complete awareness of the application, fee, and delivery time for obtaining a passport in Pakistan.

The government has increased the charge for both normal and urgent passport categories. The urgent passport fee in Pakistan has been increased to Rs7,500 for a normal 36-page passport with a five-year validity, up from Rs5,000 before.
For individuals wanting a 10-year validity term, the urgent charge for a 36-page passport is now Rs11,200.
Individuals who want additional space may now pay Rs13,500 for an expedited 72-page passport that is good for five years. Meanwhile, the new urgent passport charge in Pakistan for a 100-page passport good for ten years is Rs20,200.00.
While the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports’ official website promises that the expedited passport will be granted within five working days, the reality on the ground appears to differ.
