Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and his wife Ansha Afridi, daughter of legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi, are expecting their first child in the coming weeks.
Pakistan team Head Coach Jason Gillespie confirmed the development, stating that the left-arm bowler may miss the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh to spend time with his family. The Afridi family has not issued an official statement.
After the reports of misconduct by Shaheen during the world there are rumors of Afridi being dropped from the national side for the next series against Bangladesh.

The Test matches are part of the World Test Championship. The Bangladesh squad will play 2 Test matches on the trip, with the first game will be played in Rawalpindi from August 21 to 25, while the second Test will be played in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.
