Under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s proposal, the Ministry of Education announced a Rs4 billion scholarship for talented needy students to assist bright students in need throughout Pakistan.
This will be a great initiative of the government to promote education in the region as Pakistani education standards are not up to the mark with international standards.
This kind of project will help to improve the education ratio in Pakistan as there will be financial assistance for the talented brilliant and hardworking students to continue their education without financial burden.
To improve education standards in Islamabad, the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (MFEPT) has earmarked Rs 8.5 billion to improve facilities in both rural and urban regions.

The goal of this project, “Provision of Basic Educational Facilities in Educational Institutions of ICT,” is to finish by June 30, 2025.
Secretary MFEPT Mohyudin Wani explained that the ministry’s overall PSDP portfolio is Rs8.5 billion, with Rs5.4 billion allocated to basic education and Rs3.1 billion to technical education.
Furthermore, a Rs4 billion Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has been established for impoverished pupils, with Rs800 million designated exclusively for Balochistan.
The Ministry is also undertaking the World Bank-funded “Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education Programme (ASPIRE),” which will run from July 2020 to June 2025. ASPIRE provides federal-provincial performance-based funding to improve education in underprivileged districts.
