On Friday, Punjab inaugurated its satellite internet in schools project, to bridge the digital gap. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the pilot project at DPS Model Town.
This will be a great step towards making Pakistan a great nation by promoting the education sector. Now the education level will be raised among the students with the availability of the latest up-to-date facilities in the Schools.
During the signing of the MoU, a UAE delegation led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmouk Al Maktoum was present. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz spoke with students at the DPS Digital Lab, underlining the government’s commitment to improving educational experiences through digital integration.

With the help of this agreement between UAE and Pakistan govt. intends to bring satellite internet to thousands of schools in Punjab, bridging the digital divide. This partnership demonstrates a cooperative effort to employ technology for development.
Maryam Nawaz vowed a digitally empowered Punjab, reaffirming the government’s commitment to giving laptop computers and satellite internet access to students. Senator Pervez Rasheed and Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb were also present.
