With this announcement, teachers will have a lower amount of workload so they can do their duties efficiently as compared to only one vacation policy.

This policy, announced by Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, intends to minimize teachers’ workload and give them focused time for professional growth.

Minister Hayat remarked that the transition to a five-day teaching week from Monday to Friday will allow Saturdays to be solely dedicated to teacher training sessions.

Now with the increasing rate of inflation admission rate in government schools is increasing day by day because poor parents are not able to bear the expenses of private schools.

This shift is part of larger attempts to relieve the enormous demands put on government school teachers, who have long experienced difficulties owing to their demanding positions.
