Punjab Bikes Scheme 2024 balloting: Degree college and university students in Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore are excitedly awaiting the results of the Punjab government’s motorbike program.
The government received a total of 72,640 applications – 57,370 for petrol motorcycles and 15,270 for electric bikes – until the deadline of May 1, 2024.
Under the initiative, 19,000 petrol motorbikes and 1,000 electric bikes would be provided to students chosen through balloting. The system includes a quota for female students.
Of the 19,000 petrol bikes, 11,676 are for male students and 7,324 for female students.
Out of 1,000 electric bikes, 700 have been allotted to male students and 300 to female students.
There is a different financing model for electric and petrol bikes as the maximum financing amount for electric bikes is Rs. 250,000, and the maximum financing amount for petrol bikes is Rs. 150,000.

Students can also select bikes that are expensive from the given financing limit mentioned above but then they will be required to pay the extra amount up front to the BOP to be deemed successful.
The Punjab government will not pay for any price that is greater than those listed above. The only possibilities from which the bike may be chosen are those listed on the web platform.
Punjab Bikes Scheme 2024 Ballot Date
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) will make arrangements for electronic balloting.
According to reports, the balloting will take place tomorrow, May 10, but there has been no official notification about this.

The list of successful candidates in the balloting will be published here as soon as it is released by the government.
