The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will take place on September 22, 2024.
The news of the MDCAT test date is now announced So that aspirants can prepare themselves according to their formulated plan for better preparation of the exam.
PMDC President Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj announced that the MDCAT will be held both in Pakistan and abroad. The test syllabus will be available on the PMDC website next week.
The news of changing the syllabus of the MDCAT circulating in the media which is causing confusion and stir among the students who are going to take part in the admission test.
To assist students, the PMDC chose not to adjust the syllabus. Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj indicated that this decision is in the best interests of the pupils. He has directed all provincial secretaries to begin preparing for the MDCAT test.

Last year, about 180,534 students took the MDCAT. Dr. Rizwan Taj estimates that around 200,000 pupils will take the test this year. The MDCAT paper will be prepared with students in mind while maintaining high standards. “Our students’ bright future is our top priority,” stated the PMDC President.
The PMDC is committed to making the admissions process transparent. Professor Rizwan Taj stated that all universities have received instructions to achieve this.
