From July 10 to September 10, Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport will be closed for three hours each day between 5 and 8 a.m.
The security and minimizing any kind of risk is the top priority of Civil Aviation Authority. The action was implemented in response to an increase in the number of birds near the airport during the monsoon season, which poses a substantial risk to aircraft.
The bird strike during landing and takeoff operations is very scary situation to safeguard airplanes and to improve passenger safety by lowering the chance of bird strikes during crucial flight operations.
