In a bid to improve the public service facilities the Islamabad Police, they are announcing the implementation of taxes for different services rendered to civilians.
The introduction of the fee mechanism by the ICT police will improve the service-providing mechanism of the Police. While the fees may appear to be an additional hardship, they are meant to increase the quality and efficiency with which the Islamabad Police offer services.

According to a police spokeswoman, Islamabad’s new Inspector General (IG), Ali Naser Ravi, has instituted the fees to simplify services and increase efficiency.
Fees for Various Services
The following fees have been introduced:
- Police Character Certificate: Rs. 1,000
- Police General Verification: Rs. 1,000
- Foreigner Registration Certificate: Rs. 1,000
- Motorcycle Verification Certificate: Rs. 1,000
- Car Verification Certificate: Rs. 1,500
- Foreigner Car Verification Certificate: Rs. 3,500
The implementation of these fees is projected to have an impact on residents who need these services for a variety of reasons, including work, education, and travel.
