The government of Pakistan in a move to provide better facilities to its citizens announced new policies.
In a historic step, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) would henceforth issue driver’s licenses nationally.
Now with these announcements, citizens from anywhere in the nation can apply for an Islamabad driver’s license. This action is intended to improve road safety and transparency.

The federal interior minister announces several policies regarding the Islamabad driver’s license to make it more accessible and easy to approach.
The widespread availability of the Islamabad driving license heralds a new chapter in the country’s traffic management and road safety initiatives.
Under these programs, children’s driver’s licenses will be processed and sent straight to their schools. Meanwhile, Islamabad residents above the age of 70 would be able to get their licenses delivered to their homes.
To improve the city’s infrastructure, the interior minister promised to make parking available in all of Islamabad’s business zones. He threatened stern action against commercial locations that fail to offer enough parking spaces.
Naqvi has withdrawn all tinted window licenses, notwithstanding the restriction. He also asked the Islamabad Traffic Police to provide licenses to citizens across the country. He emphasized that Islamabad residents should have no barriers while applying for a license.
