The government is considering providing relief to salaried individuals. The Prime Minister has directed finance experts to assess the amount of tax paid by those earning up to Rs100,000 per month.

The relaxation of taxes will provide some kind of cushion for the public fighting with unemployment and higher inflation rates.
Previously, the government increased taxes for those earning between Rs50,000 and Rs100,000 per month, but this tax may be reduced or removed entirely. This would be beneficial for those struggling to make ends meet.
