The new scheme of the government backfiring as in Wana, Lower South Waziristan District, the promise of simple e-domicile issuing has turned into a tedious process, particularly for young people and women.
Since its inception on March 21, 2024, the e-domicile effort enforced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) provincial government has failed to ease paperwork for residents.
So the people of the KP have to go through the unwanted hassle of paperwork, which is time-consuming and also creates financial issues.

The necessity of a B Form for online e-domicile applications is the most frustrating aspect. However, obtaining a B Form is difficult for persons above the age of 18, resulting in a bureaucratic impasse that impedes access to critical papers such as residence and ID cards.
The government launched this program without addressing issues that may be faced by the people who are going to apply through it.
Students and the general public are struggling since they must attend offices regularly without making any progress. Farid Wazir, in charge of e-facilities, stated that the government launched this plan but did not address the present issues.
The circumstance emphasizes the need for simplified protocols to guarantee that everyone has access to critical papers without additional barriers.
