Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made an emergency landing in Dubai due to a systematic fault. According to aviation sources, this problem appeared right after flight PK 284 took off. By the instructions of Dubai air traffic control, this flight landed back about 40 minutes after takeoff.
A PIA spokesperson said that flight PK 284 is now expected to reach Peshawar at 1:30 PM Pakistan time.
Two private flights (PF125 and PF126) and a PIA flight (PK832) from Karachi to Jeddah were canceled due to the issue with this flight. Additionally, two other flights (PF723 and PK261) of PIA were also canceled. Many flights have been delayed as a result of this flight’s emergency landing.
