The State Bank of Pakistan has stated that all of its associated banks will close for public business on Monday (July 1) owing to a bank holiday.
However, specified bank offices around the country will stay open today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday). This late decision was taken to assist the public in paying their taxes and other incentives of the government in the state bank.
Designated bank offices around the nation will remain open today and tomorrow to assist taxpayers in paying government obligations and taxes, according to Radio Pakistan.
This decision will put an extra workload on the bank employees. To counter this State Bank of Pakistan announces Monday a bank holiday.

All banks, development financial institutions, and microfinance banks will remain closed for public business.
Despite the vacation, workers from these banks and other developed financial institutions will be present as normal.
